Our staff is at the backbone of what we do here at MG Christian Child Care. We are excited to share our staff with you and tell you about their experience.
Joan Cutler
MG Christian Childcare Center Director
Joan joined Mechanic Grove Christian Child Care in 2019 as our Director. She has
worked in the Early Childhood Education field for over 25 years and holds a bachelor’s
degree in early childhood education. Previously Joan was the Director/PreK teacher at
Jacob’s Ladder Nursery School (Chestnut Level Church) and Director of Shining Stars
Childcare. She has raised her two children, son Trevor (28 yrs. old) and daughter
Kaitlyn (25 yrs. old). In her spare time Joan enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, going on
motorcycle rides and spending time with family and friends. She has a chocolate lab
named Gunner and many chickens.

Davina Coe
Wee Friends Preschool 3 yr old Teacher
Davina started at our Child Care in 2020. She graduated from CTC with a certificate in
Early Childhood Education, working with children ages 6 weeks to school age. She also
spent time helping at Donegal Elementary School. Davina’s hobbies include playing
with her daughter outside, walking and exploring nature. She loves collecting strange
objects to decorate with and enjoys doing hair and makeup for herself and others. In
her free time Davina spends time with her little family, looking for bugs with her
daughter, soaking up sun and spending time with her friends.
Kaitlyn Cutler
Wee Friends Preschool 3 yr old Teacher
Kaitlyn has been at Mechanic Grove Christian Child Care since 2019. She has 8 years
of experience working in daycare. When she was a teenager, she would work at her
church nursery and has babysat for friends and family for over 10 years. Prior to joining
us, she was employed at Shining Stars Daycare. Kaitlyn’s hobbies include reading,
drawing, or painting. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and her
four cats that she rescued.
Rose Groff
Wee Friends Preschool 4 yr old Teacher
Rose started at Mechanic Grove Child Care in 2020. Prior to that she worked at
Shining Stars Daycare and has over 7 years of experience in the daycare business.
Rose has cared for children for over 48 years, starting when she was babysitting at the
age of 12. She loves to nurture children. Her hobbies include planting and caring for
flowers. In her free time, she loves to decorate interiors and exteriors.
Tiffany Henry
Wee Friends Preschool 4 yr old Teacher
Tiffany joined our Child Care staff in 2021. She graduated from the Berks Career and
Technology Center and received a certificate for Child Development. Tiffany has three
children of her own, Brayden 12, Aubree 8 and Owen 5. Her hobbies include going to
ReFit to exercise, baking, and cooking. In her free time Tiffany likes spending time with
her children and husband Ron. She loves watching her children in their sports and all
the activities they are involved in. She also enjoys spending time with friends and
family. Tiffany loves her job and working here. She believes it’s a joy to come to work
every day!
Cassie Liberty
Wee Friends Preschool 4 yr old Teacher
Cassie started at Mechanic Grove Christian Child Care in 2022. She has been a stay-
at-home mother, caring for one child with medical needs. In addition, Cassie has been
a babysitter for family, friends, and families at her church. Her hobbies include cooking,
baking, fun activities with her four children and hiking. In her free time, you will find
Cassie spending time with her children Kaden, Rylan, Eric, Autumn and her boyfriend
Joshua. They enjoy finding fun things to do together. Cassie also loves to spend time
with friends old and new laughing together. Cassie believes this job has been such a
blessing since the first day she started.
Carly Rose
Wee Friends Preschool 2 yr old Teacher
Carly joined our Child Care in 2022. She went to CTC and received a certificate in
Early Childhood. Additionally, she interned at Sunshine Corners for a year, then worked
for them for another year before joining our staff. Currently she is attending college for
Early Childhood Education. In her free time Carly likes to line dance, work out, camp,
go on walks and help her friend on the farm. Carly loves to babysit on the side for
whoever needs her.
Laurie Neff
Wee Friends Preschool 4 yr old Teacher
Meet Laurie Neff, who is a shining star of the COM team since 2001. Her hard work and dedication have proven to be a priceless addition to our Child Care Center since 2002. Although she took a break in 2005, we were over the moon when she returned in 2006. When Laurie's not busy making kids' days brighter, she's living it up with her love, Paul, and their motorcycle adventures. She's also a devoted pet owner, showering love on her furry companions, Molly, Pip, and Buddy. With her at home child care experience under her belt before joining us, we're lucky to have Laurie's impressive skills and abilities in the child care industry. In her downtime, she's all about family love, especially with her three grandkids.
